Description
The 2009 GT Marathon Sport is a full-suspension mountain bike built around GT’s I Drive 4 6061 heat-treated aluminum frame, which delivers four inches of rear wheel travel through integrated main pivot bearings. A Suntour Mag 32 air fork with 120 mm of travel, rebound adjust, and lockout handles the front end, while Tektro Auriga Comp hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors provide reliable stopping power.
Drivetrain duties fall to a Shimano Deore 9-speed groupset paired with a triple chainring crankset, and 26-inch WTB SX-24 double-wall rims wrapped in Kenda Nevegal 2.1 tires round out a capable trail-ready package available in five frame sizes.
