Description
In ancient tongues, Xizang was the name of the mysterious mountain region known today as Tibet. Regarded as the top of the world, its majesty was the inspiration for our finest competition model, the Xizang.
Awe over this exceptional racing bicycle is inspired by its competition series GT Triple Triangle Design™ frame. Hand crafted with Tange Prestige and MTB tubing, each joint is fillet brazed and polished for a sculpted, one-piece appearance. Tange Prestige forks with 1 1/8-inch tapered blades and forged dropouts, and GT’s exclusive Spider Webbing three-phase paint finish complete this very sophisticated all-terrain competitor.
The Xizang’s list of credentials continue with some very impressive off-road componentry. Tioga’s Prestige II handlebars and carbon fiber seatpost. A SunTour XC-9010 rear derailleur with AccuShift and The BEAST, SunTour’s Browning Electronic AccuShift Transmission. Tioga Farmer John series off-road tires and Araya New RM-20 light alloy rims.
There are no mysteries surrounding this package — the Xizang offers the stuff of which legends are made.
