Description
The 1992 GT Arette is a crossover hybrid bicycle built around GT’s Triple Triangle frame design using Tange chromoly main tubes, featuring an externally butted seat tube and reinforced head tube for added durability. The matching GT unicrown chromoly fork runs 700C wheels, and the Araya PX-45 32-hole alloy rims are paired with 700x35C dual-purpose tires suited to mixed-surface riding.
Shifting is handled by a SunTour XCM-Lite Accushift groupset with a triple SR Cross chainring setup (50/40/28T), giving a practical gear range for varied terrain. Braking combines a DiaCompe XCT front cantilever with a rear U-brake. The Arette is offered in five frame sizes, with two dedicated ladies’ sizing options.
