Description
The 1993 GT Vantara is a chromoly hybrid bicycle built around a TIG pulse-welded Tange chromoly frame featuring GT’s Triple Triangle cross design. The fork is a GT unicrown unit with 1-inch tapered chromoly blades, keeping the front end light and responsive. Drivetrain duties fall to a Shimano Altus groupset throughout, with Rapid-Fire Plus shifters, a 21-speed Altus A10 derailleur setup, and an alloy crankset running 50/40/30 SG-X chainrings.
The 700×41c skinwall tires mounted on silver-anodized Araya PX-45 alloy rims point to paved and light mixed-surface riding. Altus A20 alloy cantilever brakes handle stopping, and the bike is available in five frame sizes ranging from 15 to 23 inches.
