Description
The 1994 GT Discovery is a chromoly cyclocross bicycle built around GT’s Cross Design frame, TIG pulse-welded with a Tange chromoly seat tube and paired with a GT Unicrown fork. It rolls on silver anodized alloy 700c rims shod with 700x40c dual-purpose tread tires, making it equally comfortable on pavement and light off-road terrain. Shimano Alivio 18-speed derailleurs handle gear changes, driven by Altus C50 thumb shifters with optical gear display, while a Sugino triple crankset with 50/40/28 chainrings provides a wide range. Shimano Tourney alloy cantilever brakes and a GT Supersoft touring saddle round out a spec sheet aimed at practical, all-condition riding.
