1997 GT Tempest

GT’s engineers took a hard look at the 1997 Tempest and decided that, for our entry-level aluminium frame mountain bike, you deserve nothing less than the best. This year's Tempest features a bologna cut Cr-Mo fork with a threadless stem and Tioga headset, Araya double-wall rims with Tioga tires, and Shimano seven-speed Rapidfire shifters.
