Description
The 2009 GT Chucker 1.0 is a 26-inch wheel trail mountain bike built around a 7005 aluminum frame engineered specifically for 4-inch travel forks. The oversized formed down tube and heavy-duty 1-1/8-inch head tube keep the front end stiff under load, while the low stand-over height suits aggressive riding positions. A Suntour Duro D fork with magnesium lowers, 32mm chromoly stanchions, and hydraulic damping handles rough terrain at the front.
Stopping power comes from Tektro Auriga Comp hydraulic disc brakes, and the drivetrain pairs a Truvativ Ruktion crankset with a 32/22 chainring setup and SRAM X5 9-speed shifting. Kenda Kinetics 2.35-inch tires on double-wall Jalco rims complete the package.
