Description
The 2009 GT Chucker 2.0 is a 26-inch wheel dirt jump and street mountain bike built around a 7005 aluminum frame with a low stand-over height and geometry tuned for a 4-inch travel fork. An oversize formed down tube and HD rear entry dropouts reinforce the chassis for hard use, while the RST Launch T8 coil fork provides 100mm of travel through 32mm stanchions with adjustable preload.
Drivetrain duties fall to a SRAM X-4/X-5 combination paired with a Truvativ Ruktion crankset running a bashring-equipped 32/22 chainring setup. ProMax hydraulic disc brakes and Kenda Kinetics 2.35-inch tires round out a spec aimed squarely at riders hitting dirt jumps and urban terrain.
