Description

The 2009 GT GTR Carbon Sport is a road bike built around a full carbon monocoque frame featuring an asymmetric head tube, carbon dropouts, and a press-in low Q-factor bottom bracket. The matching GT full carbon fork uses a tapered steerer and carbon dropouts, adding front-end rigidity without significant weight penalty. Semi-compact geometry positions the bike between aggressive race and endurance orientations.

Componentry centers on a complete Shimano 105 10-speed groupset, including STI shifters, a compact 34/50 crankset, and dual-pivot brakes. Mavic CXP-22 rims laced to 700c wheels and a Fizik Arione saddle with magnesium rails round out a build aimed at serious recreational and entry-level competitive road riders.
