Description
The 2009 GT GTR Series 3 is an aluminum road bike built around a compact frame design using hydroformed, smooth-welded Kinesis 6061 butted tubing. A GT carbon fork with an aluminum 1-1/8″ threadless steerer keeps weight in check while adding some road compliance up front. Drivetrain duties fall to a full Shimano Tiagra 9-speed groupset, including STI shifters and a compact 50/34 crankset well suited to varied terrain.
700c Alex D22 black anodized rims laced with Vittoria Zaffiro 700x23c tires round out a spec sheet oriented toward entry-level road riding. The bike is offered in four frame sizes — Small through Extra Large.
