Description
The 2009 GT GTR Type CX is an aluminum cyclocross bike built around a butted Kinesis Kineium frame with an integrated headset and replaceable derailleur hanger. An Easton EC70 X-Cross fork — carbon blades with an aluminum steerer — keeps the front end light while providing cantilever brake mounts compatible with the Kore Race Plus canti brakes fitted as standard.
Drivetrain duties fall to a full SRAM Rival 10-speed groupset, paired with a Truvativ Rouleur 2.2 crankset running a 46/38 chainring combination. Kore Streamline 700c aero rims laced to 20 and 24 holes front and rear, shod with 700×35C Kenda Kwicker folding tires, complete a capable race-ready package.
