Description

The 2009 GT Laguna 26 is an entry-level aluminium mountain bike built around a 6061 triple-triangle frame with disc-compatible dropouts and what GT describes as dirt-worthy geometry. An SR M2025 fork with an alloy crown provides 75 mm of travel up front, while Shimano EZ-Fire ST-EF50 shifters drive a 21-speed drivetrain through Shimano TY-10 and TX-50 derailleurs paired with a Suntour XCC-T02 triple crankset. Pro-Max linear-pull brakes handle stopping duties.

The 26-inch dual-purpose 26×2.1 ATB tires suit light trail and mixed-surface riding. The Laguna 26 is offered in small and medium frame sizes, with a ladies’ variant running 24-inch wheels on a correspondingly sized frame.
