Description
The 2009 GT Peace 9R Multi is a 29er hardtail mountain bike built around GT’s Triple Triangle single-speed-compatible frame, here configured for geared riding. The Reynolds 520 butted chromoly frame pairs with a matching 4130 cr-mo rigid fork featuring 31.8mm tapered blades, keeping the build light and responsive without suspension. Mechanical disc brakes — Tektro Aquila units with 160mm wave rotors front and rear — handle stopping duties, while a Shimano Deore 9-speed drivetrain and Truvativ Blaze crankset with Howitzer bottom bracket manage the drivetrain.
Rolling on 29×2.2″ Kenda Nevegal tires mounted to 24mm-wide WTB SpeedDisc double-wall rims, the Peace 9R Multi is oriented toward cross-country trail riding on capable, no-frills equipment.
