2009 GT Scamp 20
2009 GT Scamp 20 is a youth mountain bike built on a Triple Triangle 6061 aluminum hardtail frame with a 7-speed SRAM drivetrain for 20-inch wheels.
Description
The 2009 GT Scamp 20 is a youth mountain bike built around GT’s Triple Triangle 6061 aluminum hardtail frame, sized for riders on 20-inch wheels. Up front, an SR M2000 alloy crown fork provides 75 mm of travel, giving younger riders a measure of trail compliance without overcomplicating the handling.
Drivetrain duties fall to a single 36-tooth chainring paired with SRAM MRX 7-speed shifters and a Shimano TX-51 rear derailleur, keeping the gear range manageable for developing riders. Kenda 24×1.95 dual-purpose ATB tires and Tektro linear-pull brakes round out a spec sheet aimed at introducing kids to off-road riding on a properly proportioned platform.
