Description
The 2009 GT Transeo 4.0 is a hybrid fitness bike built around a GT 7000 series aluminum frame featuring hydroformed PG top tube construction and a sport fitness geometry suited to commuting and recreational riding. Forged drop-outs include chainstay disc mounts, keeping future brake upgrades accessible. A SR/Suntour NEX4110 suspension fork provides 50mm of travel along with rack and fender mounts for practical load carrying.
Drivetrain duties fall to a Shimano Acera 8-speed rear derailleur paired with Shimano EF-50 Rapid Fire shifters and a Suntour triple crankset, offering a broad gear range. WTB AllTerrainasaurus 700x35c tires on double-wall Alex rims balance rolling efficiency with light off-pavement capability.
