Description
The 2009 GT Transeo 5.0 is a 700c hybrid bicycle built around a GT 7000 series aluminum frame with sport fitness geometry. The frame features hydroformed PG top tube construction, forged drop-outs with chainstay disc mounts, and a removable derailleur hanger, while the cromoly-legged fork includes rack and fender eyelets for commuting versatility.
Drivetrain duties fall to a Suntour CW9-XCC triple crankset paired with Shimano Altus 7-speed rear shifting and Shimano EF-50 Rapid Fire levers. Alex Z1000 single-wall alloy rims wrapped in 700x35c WTB AllTerrainasaurus tires provide a capable rolling platform. The Transeo 5.0 is offered across five unisex sizes and three women’s sizes.
