Description
The 1992 GT Bravado is an aluminium-framed hardtail mountain bike built around GT’s Triple Triangle design, constructed with True Temper GTX Ultra III heat-treated double-butted tubing and a 1-1/8″ oversize reinforced head tube. Spec choices reflect a performance-oriented build: Shimano Deore XT Rapid-Fire STI shifters and derailleurs pair with a Deore DX crankset running 46/36/24T chainrings, while Araya RM-400 7000-series aluminium rims laced to 26″ wheels keep weight in check.
The fork is either a GT 3D unicrown with 27mm triple-butted chromoly blades or an optional Rock Shox Mag20 with dial-adjust damping. Braking comes from a Shimano Deore DX front cantilever and rear U-brake with FlexGuard. Five frame sizes accommodate a broad range of riders.
