Description
The 1992 GT Passage is a chromoly crossover-style hybrid built around GT’s Triple Triangle cross design, which incorporates a True Temper chromoly seat tube and a reinforced head tube for added rigidity. The GT unicrown fork runs 1-inch round blades with forged safety dropouts, complementing the frame’s own forged dropouts fitted with two eyelets each.
Drivetrain duties fall to an SR Cross series crankset with 50/40/28T chainrings paired to Shimano 100GS thumb shifters and derailleurs. Araya PX-45 700C alloy rims laced to 32 holes carry 700x35C dual-purpose tires, making the Passage a capable all-rounder for road and light off-road use. Seven frame sizes, including two ladies’ options, round out the range.
