Description

The 1994 GT Vantara is a chromoly cyclocross bike built around GT’s Cross Design frame, tig pulse welded with chromoly main tubes and paired with a GT Unicrown fork. It rolls on 700c Araya PX-35 silver anodized alloy rims laced with 700x41C dual-purpose tires, giving it the clearance and grip needed for mixed-surface riding.

Drivetrain duties fall to a full Shimano Alivio groupset, including a 42/34/24 HyperDrive-C triple crankset with 170mm alloy arms, 7-speed RapidFire-L shifters, and Alivio cantilever brakes. The Vantara was offered in five frame sizes ranging from 15 to 23 inches, making it broadly accessible across rider sizes.
