Description

The 2009 GT Vantara is an aluminum-framed hybrid bike designed for fitness riding and general-purpose use. Its fitness geometry positions the rider in a comfortable yet efficient stance, and the frame includes a removable derailleur hanger and full braze-ons for practical versatility. A Suntour M-3000 suspension fork takes the edge off rough pavement, while 700c wheels shod with Kenda Euro Tour 700×38c tires balance rolling speed with stability.

Drivetrain duties fall to a Suntour XCC T-208 triple crankset paired with SRAM ESP 3.0 twist shifters and rear derailleur, offering a wide 27-speed range. The GT Comfort saddle with elastomer bumpers adds cushioning for longer rides, and the wide size range — including dedicated ladies’ sizing — reflects a broad intended audience.
