Description
We call the Tachyon on a crossover bike, but perhaps “convertible” would be just as appropriate. Flip the stem up, adjust the front axle out, put your knobbies on and head for the mountains. Flop the stem down, bring the axle in and install the slicks and you’re ready for a century ride on the road.
SunTour XC–LTD derailleurs with Command shifters, SR 52/42/32 round chain rings, DiaCompe aero brake levers and rear cassette hub match this superb quality of the Tange Infinity double butted chromoly tubes. The GT Triple Triangle design frame with internal cable routing and all cable adjusters within reach of the rider make this crossover hard to beat.
