1992 GT Tachyon

Description
The 1992 GT Tachyon is a crossover-oriented hybrid bicycle built around GT’s Triple Triangle frame design executed in Tange Infinity double-butted tubing, with internal cable routing and a full complement of water bottle bosses. The fork, a GT/Spinner unicrown unit with butted chromoly blades and adjustable-offset forged dropouts, includes lowrider bosses for loaded touring use.
Braking is handled by a DiaCompe 986 front cantilever paired with a 993 rear U-brake, while the drivetrain pairs a SunTour XC-Pro Accushift rear derailleur with an SR Cross-series crankset running a 52/42/32T triple chainring setup. The 700D wheel size and semi-slick GT/IRC tires suit mixed-surface commuting and light off-road riding.
