Description
The 1992 GT Talera is a chromoly-framed mountain bike built around GT’s Triple Triangle design, which uses True Temper chromoly main tubes, tapered seat stays, and forged dropouts. The frame includes a reinforced head tube and dual water bottle bosses. A GT unicrown fork with a 1-1/8″ butted chromoly steerer tube completes the front end.
Drivetrain components come from Shimano’s entry-level mountain lineup, including 200GS Rapid-Fire shifters, 300LX derailleurs, and 202GS BioPace triple chainrings paired with 170mm alloy crank arms. Araya VP-20 alloy rims laced to 26-inch wheels carry 26×1.95 dual-purpose tires. The Talera was offered in five frame sizes, with two dedicated ladies’ sizing options.
