1993 GT Richter 8.0
The ground will start to rumble as you ride up to the start line. With a Rock Shox Quadra fork, the Richter 8.0 thrives oil the rough stuff.
Description
The 1993 GT Richter 8.0 is a mountain bike built around a TIG pulse-welded True Temper GTX heat-treated double-butted chromoly frame, incorporating GT’s Triple Triangle design with even-tapered seatstays and chainstays. A Rock Shox Quadra fork handles front suspension duties, while Mavic M-231 silver anodized alloy rims and Panaracer Dart/Smoke 26×2.1 tires round out the rolling stock.
Drivetrain components draw from Shimano’s mid-to-upper range, pairing Deore XT 21-speed dual SIS derailleurs with Deore DX Rapid-Fire Plus shifters and a Deore LX crankset carrying SG-X 46/36/26 chainrings. Shimano Deore LX cantilever brakes provide stopping power. The bike is offered across six frame sizes, from 14.5 to 22 inches.
