Description
The 1993 GT Ricochet is an aluminium alloy mountain bike built around a TIG pulse-welded 7005 series frame with GT’s Triple Triangle design and a heat-treated replaceable derailleur hanger. A Rock Shox Quadra fork handles front suspension duties, while the 1-1/8″ oversize Tioga Aheadset adds rigidity to the steering assembly.
Drivetrain components are drawn from Shimano’s Altus and Exage LT lineup, delivering a 21-speed Dual SIS setup with Rapid-Fire Plus shifters and a 46/36/26 chainring combination. Double-wall Araya TM-18 rims laced to 26-inch Onza Porcupine II tires complete the package. Six frame sizes ranging from 14.5″ to 22″ ensure a broad fit across rider sizes.
