Description
The 1989 Team Avalanche is designed for hardcore off-road riders. Its competition series Triple Triangle Design™ frame is constructed with Tange’s finest Prestige and MTB tubing, and features a Tange Prestige fork. The Team Avalanche boasts race-proven competition geometry and top-of-the-line componentry. Shimano’s Deore XT II groupo with high-performance BioPace chainrings, 21-speed HyperGlide shifting, and SLR braking deliver uncompromised power and control. Araya new RM-20 light alloy rims and Tioga Farmer John series tires transfer all power to the ground. The Avalanche’s light weight is aided by a Tioga Prestige II handlebar and carbon fiber seatpost, and our Snowstorm three-phase custom paint finish lends visual sophistication to this savage off-road performer.
