The GT Tequesta underwent substantial refinements for 1989, and still retained its superior quality and value. With its new competition series Triple Triangle Design™ frame, the Tequesta features our Karakoram’s celebrated geometry and handles like a true off-road champion. Triple-butted Tange MTB tubing and a tapered full chromoly fork are features that provide the quality and responsiveness you demand. The Tequesta’s SunTour XCD-6000 derailleurs with 21-speed AccuShift, grey anodized Araya RX-7 alloy rims, stainless steel spokes, GT All Terra stem with internal cable routing, and DiaCompe XCE brakes with BRS cables withstand any obstacle modern mountain bikers run across. Its custom Hot Pink Smoke finish is our most striking creation yet, and the Tequesta is also available with a classy high-gloss black finish for understated elegance.
