Description
The 1992 GT Tequesta is a mountain bike built around GT’s Triple Triangle frame design in Tange MTB double-butted chromoly, featuring a 1-1/8″ oversize reinforced head tube, internal cable routing, and forged dropouts. The matching GT unicrown fork uses 1-1/8″ chromoly blades with a butted steerer. Drivetrain duties fall to Shimano Deore LX throughout, pairing Rapid-Fire STI shifters and derailleurs with a Shimano 400LX BioPace crankset running a 48/38/28T chainring set.
Wheels are built around Ritchey Sport silver-anodized alloy rims in the 26×1.5 size, shod with Kingon 26×2.1 tires. Braking combines a Shimano alloy low-profile front cantilever with a rear U-brake and GT cable crosser. Five frame sizes cover a broad range of riders.
