Description
The 1993 GT Tequesta is a hardtail mountain bike built around a TIG pulse-welded Tange double-butted chromoly frame featuring GT’s Triple Triangle design and a 73mm bottom bracket shell. The matching full chromoly unicrown fork uses an oversized 1-1/8″ steerer tube with chisel-cut blades, pairing well with a Tange alloy Aheadset of the same standard.
Drivetrain duties fall to a mixed Shimano groupset: Deore DX Rapid-Fire Plus shifters, Deore XT 21-speed dual SIS derailleurs, and a Shimano Exage LT crankset carrying 46/36/26 SG-X chainrings. Araya CV-7 32-hole silver anodized rims wrapped in 26×2.1 knobby skinwalls complete a capable trail-oriented package available across six frame sizes from 14.5″ to 22″.
