Description
The 1992 GT Quatrefoil is a chromoly tandem road/hybrid bicycle built around GT’s Triple Triangle tandem frame design using Tange MTB double-butted chromoly tubing. The 1-1/8″ oversize reinforced head tube and matching GT unicrown fork with tapered chromoly blades lend the frame added rigidity suited to the demands of two-rider use. Four sets of water bottle bosses and full rack braze-ons make it a practical touring option.
Drivetrain duties fall to a Sugino tandem crankset with anatomically sized arms and a 50/40/30T chainring setup, shifted via Shimano 500LX RapidFire Plus levers and 300LX derailleurs. GT/Araya RM-20 700D rims carry GT/IRC 700×1.4 dual-purpose tires, and gender-specific saddles are fitted front and rear.
