Description
The 1993 GT Quatrefoil LX is a chromoly tandem mountain bike built around a TIG pulse-welded Tange double-butted frame featuring GT’s Triple Triangle design. The oversize 1-1/8″ GT Unicrown chromoly fork pairs with a Tioga headset sized to match, giving the front end added rigidity appropriate for carrying two riders on trail. Shimano Deore LX handles shifting across 21 speeds via a Sugino GP tandem crankset with 50/40/28 chainrings and anatomically sized crank arms scaled to each rider’s position.
Araya RM-17 36-hole alloy rims on 26-inch wheels provide the spoke count needed for tandem loads, while dual-purpose 26×1.95 skinwall tires suit mixed-surface riding. Sizes are offered in three paired frame combinations to accommodate different captain-and-stoker configurations.
