Description
The 1993 GT Pantera AL is an aluminium-framed mountain bike built around GT’s Triple Triangle design, using TIG pulse-welded 7005 aluminium alloy tubing that is heat treated for added rigidity and durability. The frame accepts either a GT “Bologna Lite” full chromoly triple-butted rigid fork or a RockShox Quadra suspension fork, giving buyers a choice between weight savings and trail compliance.
Drivetrain duties fall to a 21-speed Shimano Exage ES package, including Rapid-Fire Plus shifters and a crankset with 46/36/26 SG-X chainrings. Araya TM-18 double-wall alloy rims paired with Ritchey Z-Max 26×2.1 tires round out a spec sheet aimed squarely at capable trail riding on a mid-range budget.
