Description
The 1994 GT Pantera AL is an aluminum-framed mountain bike built around GT’s Triple Triangle design using 7005 double-butted, heat-treated aluminum with a replaceable alloy derailleur hanger. The fork is either GT’s own “Bologna Lite” chromoly unit with butted 27mm tapered blades or an optional Rock Shox Quadra 10, paired with a 1-1/8″ oversize Aheadset headset.
Drivetrain duties fall to a full Shimano STX groupset — 21-speed Rapid-Fire Plus shifters, STX derailleurs, and a 42/34/24 HyperDrive-C crankset. Weinmann BCX-3 alloy rims mount 26-inch Panaracer Hardcore Dart/Smoke tires. Four frame sizes accommodate a range of riders seeking a capable, trail-oriented 26-inch hardtail.
