Description
The 1993 GT Timberline is a chromoly mountain bike built around a TIG pulse-welded Tange chromoly main tube frame featuring GT’s Triple Triangle design. The fork is a full chromoly unicrown unit with 1-1/8″ oversize steering tube and chisel-cut blades, pairing with an oversize sealed headset. Drivetrain components lean toward the upper-mid range, with Shimano Deore LX cranks, Deore XT 21-speed dual SIS derailleurs, and Deore DX Rapid-Fire Plus shifters handling gear changes across a 46/36/26 chainring setup.
Shimano Altus A20 cantilever brakes provide stopping power, while Araya AP-2 silver anodized alloy rims laced to 26×1.95 knobby tires handle trail duties. Six frame sizes accommodate a wide range of riders.
