Description
The 1994 GT Team Trials is a purpose-built trials mountain bike constructed around a 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminium frame paired with a 1-1/8″ oversize chromoly fork featuring a threadless steer tube — a notably modern touch for the era. The Aheadset headset system complements that setup, while Magura hydraulic brakes provide the precise, powerful modulation that trials riding demands.
GT’s own CNC-machined alloy cranks are spec’d to trials-specific sizing, and the oversized tyres — a 2.5-15 rear and 2-16 front — reflect the bike’s single-minded focus on technical obstacle riding rather than trail or cross-country use. The absence of shifters and derailleurs underscores its stripped-down, single-speed trials purpose.
