Description
The 1993 GT Zaskar LE is an aluminium hardtail mountain bike built around a USA-made, TIG pulse-welded 6061-T6 heat-treated frame featuring GT’s Triple Triangle design. The drivetrain runs entirely Shimano XTR — 24-speed Rapid-Fire Plus shifting, XTR derailleurs, and XTR cranks with SG-X 46/36/26 chainrings — placing it firmly at the top of the performance tier for its era.
Wheel equipment consists of Mavic M-231 32-hole silver anodised rims laced to 26×2.1 Panaracer tires, while braking is handled by Shimano XTR cantilevers front and rear. Fork options include GT’s own chromoly “Bologna Lite” triple-butted unit or a Rock Shox MAG21, giving buyers a choice between rigid precision and early suspension travel.
