1993 GT Zaskar

Description
The 1993 GT Zaskar is an American-made aluminium mountain bike built around a TIG pulse-welded 6061-T6 heat-treated frame featuring GT’s Triple Triangle design. Constructed in the USA, the frame pairs with either a GT “Bologna Lite” triple-butted chromoly fork or a RockShox MAG21 suspension fork, depending on spec level. Drivetrain duties fall to a full Shimano Deore XT groupset running 21-speed Dual SIS shifting via Rapid-Fire Plus levers, with a 46/36/26 chainring setup.
Mavic M-231 32-hole silver anodised rims wrapped in Panaracer 26×2.1 tyres handle trail duties, while Shimano XT cantilever brakes provide the stopping power. The Zaskar was available in five frame sizes ranging from 14.5 to 20 inches.
