Description
The 1994 GT RTS 2 is a full-suspension mountain bike built around a USA-made 6061-T6 aluminium front triangle TIG pulse-welded to a chromoly rear triangle, with a Noleen piggyback adjustable coil-over shock handling rear suspension duties. A Rock Shox MAG10 long-travel fork manages the front end, and the oversize 1-1/8″ Tioga Aheadset headset keeps the steering precise.
Drivetrain equipment comes from Shimano’s Deore LX group, pairing 21-speed Rapid-Fire Plus shifters with anatomically sized triple chainrings. Mavic M-230 silver-anodised rims laced to 26-inch wheels and shod with Panaracer Kevlar-bead tires round out a mid-tier full-suspension build well suited to trail riding of the era.
