Description
The 1994 GT RTS 3 is a full-suspension mountain bike built around a heat-treated 7005 aluminium front triangle TIG pulse-welded to a chromoly rear triangle. The rear end is controlled by a USA-made Noleen piggyback coil-over shock with adjustable oil damping, while a Rock Shox Quadra 10 fork handles suspension duties up front. Drivetrain spec centers on Shimano Special Edition STX components throughout — 21-speed Rapid-Fire Plus shifters, matching derailleurs, and a triple crankset with anatomically sized arms.
Rolling stock consists of 26-inch Bontrager silver-anodised alloy rims laced to Panaracer Hardcore Dart/Smoke Kevlar-bead tyres with a distinctive dark blue skinwall. Five frame sizes were offered, from 14.5 to 20 inches.
